What you'll learn
This is a 3 years full time degree program, which covers all aspects of assisting doctors during surgery, preparation of the Operation Theatre (OT), and the smooth functioning of ICU, NICU, ICCU and OT’s. It also deals with study about emergency drugs, instruments and its handling. Students learn about various techniques of patient handling for pre-operative and post-operative care.

About the Course
The program consists of 40% general education and 60% of vocational education. A major portion of vocational education is On-Job-Training (OJT). Students learn about various techniques of patient handling for pre-operative and post-operative care. They get hands on training on the C-arm, OT equipment, Surgery sets, catheters, laryngoscopes, emergency drugs trolley, consent forms and so on.
On completion of the course students can look forward to very meaningful careers at hospitals and surgical care centres.
